No Judges. No Independence. The Truth About the Grooming Gang Inquiry Shortlist

Instead, Labour’s Home Office has turned to two insiders — Jim Gamble, a former police officer turned safeguarding consultant, and Annie Hudson, a lifelong social work bureaucrat.

Both are respected by the system. Neither has judicial independence. Neither has operated at such a senior level, never mind previously led a statutory inquiry. Most concerning, both come from the very institutions that failed victims.

Sky News have tried to sell them as “safe hands”. But this inquiry isn’t meant to be safe. It’s meant to be fearless.

Even the “survivor panel” being cited to justify the decision was appointed in secret, with no public record, no published minutes, and no cross-party oversight. Judges refused to take part. Parliament was cut out. The media fell into line.

This isn’t truth-seeking. It’s narrative management.

The grooming gang scandal was supposed to be Britain’s reckoning. Instead, it’s turning into another managed review of empathy without accountability and policy without justice.

We can stop the cover-up

Join me live at 9.30am and again this evening as I expose how this inquiry was being hijacked from day one and what we can still do to stop it.

If my words have ever helped you make sense of a broken system, if they’ve ever made you feel seen, heard, or hopeful, please don’t scroll past.
