Urgent: Fake Account And Facebook Hack

On 26th August, I tried to warn people on Facebook about a fake account impersonating me. It was using both my name and photograph to masquerade as me.

This account, calling itself “Raja Miah Mbe”, has:

  • Posted malicious lies designed to incite violence against me
  • Pretended to be me while engaging with survivors of the Pakistani rape gangs, their families, and other campaigners
  • Misled the public into believing it was me speaking

Instead of removing this impersonator, Facebook deleted my post, suspended me, and locked me out of all my accounts. This includes the Recusant Nine page that has over 30,000 followers and in excess of 5 million engagements each month.

Meanwhile, despite multiple complaints by people I have reached out to for help, the fake profile remains active. Facebook claim it does not breach their community guidelines.

Even worse, this account has been promoted by a sitting Oldham councillor and Paul “Boots” Errock (former chair of Reform Oldham), giving it false credibility and spreading its poison further.

And in case anyone was questioning whether there was anything untoward taking place. After I was suspended, and with no ability to log in or manage the Recusant Nine Page, the page had followed a new account (Royton Independents) without my authorisation. I am the sole administrator of this Page.

That is the dangerous reality:

  • A fake Islamist-run account is impersonating me, engaging with survivors, and spreading content that could get me killed.
  • Facebook, without any warning, removed me from their platform while protecting the impersonator.
  • Local political figures are amplifying this account to damage me, mislead the public and cause harm to survivors and their families.

If Facebook can erase me, whilst letting a fake Islamist account pretend to be me, then no activist, campaigner, survivor or whistleblower is safe.

🔥 I need your help.

I have contacted Facebook and am waiting on an appeal decision. There is no mixup here. Facebook have removed me from their platform, with no warning and having no warnings on my account, whilst allowing an Islamist to masquerade as me.

  1. Report the fake account to Facebook. You can simply click on this link, press the three dots and report the profile. Once they reject your complaint, you need to appeal it as the first rejection is just automated.
  2. Post a reply on the Recusant Nine Facebook page, warning people not to engage with this account.
  3. Contact Facebook and demand they restore my account and remove the impersonator. The emails I have been able to locate for Facebook are appeals@fb.com abuse@fb.com datarequest@fb.com This is what I have emailed them;

Though this is now also a police matter, the track record of Gtr Manchester Police in the past has been to protect this account even though they have been given details of who is behind it.

This is bigger than one man. It’s about truth, safety, and whether abusers are allowed to masquerade as survivors’ allies while those exposing corruption are silenced.

Please do not follow this account. And if you are a survivor, whatever you do, do not engage with this account. It is allied with the Pakistani Rape Gangs.

Ordinarily, on a Saturday, I would be sharing with you a detailed, well-researched story. But what has happened has completely knocked me off stride.

And here’s the truth: if we cannot pressure Facebook to remove a fake account that is impersonating me, an account that is actively engaging with survivors of the rape gangs while pretending to be me, then I will have no choice but to step back from campaigning this way.

If a platform as powerful as Facebook can silence me while protecting an Islamist-run fake account that endangers survivors, then the very basis of how I’ve campaigned - openly, transparently, and directly with you - is no longer viable.

I am Raja Miah. For six years, I led a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs.

During this time, Labour politicians tried everything possible to stop me. I spent 3 years on bail as case after case they fabricated against me collapsed in court. My mother died before I was able to clear my name.

Now the truth is out. In detail. The Pakistani Rape Gangs are real. And their victims, little White girls, number in the hundreds of thousands.

So now the question is: will you stand with me and help make sure the National Inquiry we have all fought for is not a whitewash?
