The Pimp Went Missing. The Ringleader Bought Ten Years. Two Rapists Are Still Free.
For Seventy Years, The Ringleaders of the Rape Gangs Have Repeatedly Evaded Justice.
In March 2003, two fourteen-year-old girls fought their way out of a semi-derelict house where a group of men had plied them with alcohol and tried to undress them. One of the girls was Anna. She called the police herself.
The intelligence log West Yorkshire Police wrote up on 11 March records what the officers knew about the man she called her boyfriend. About thirty years old. Co-owner of a taxi business with his uncle. And, in their own written word, her "pimp".

Twenty-three years later, thirteen men have been convicted of abusing Anna. Check them against that log. Every one of them was too young to be the man the officers described, most were barely out of their teens, and not one of them ran a taxi firm with his uncle that anybody has ever mentioned. The man West Yorkshire Police called her pimp is not among them.
Understand what this means. If the log was right, and if he was never charged, then the man police believed was running a fourteen-year-old child in council care appears nowhere among the convictions secured twenty-three years later. The public record gives no account of what happened to him, to his business, or to any licence connected to it. And in those twenty-three years, West Yorkshire Police has never said one public word about him.
He Was Not The Only One
Go back to the first case in the archive. In August 1955, four Bradford men appeared at Bradford City Court over a fifteen-year-old girl brought from Middlesbrough, and alongside the carnal knowledge counts sits a charge of a different kind. One man was accused of allowing the girl to resort to premises for the purpose. Weigh that allegation. An encounter between a man and a child does not produce that charge.
It alleged that a place had knowingly been made available for the abuse.
The surviving report does not disclose what became of that prosecution, and I am still searching the archive for its outcome. Seventy years ago the court was already looking past the users at the man who provided the room, and the record then simply loses him.
Now come forward to February 2016, when twelve men were sentenced at Bradford Crown Court to terms totalling 140 years for the rape and sexual exploitation of a Keighley schoolgirl, thirteen to fourteen years old, on one occasion raped by five men in succession. Twelve men went to prison. The thirteenth name is the one that matters here.

Ahamed Al Arif Chowdhury was described as the ringleader. He was fifteen when he first raped the girl, in a churchyard, before forcing her to have sex with other men.
Weigh that age. This trade recruits its management young.
Arrested, he fled to Bangladesh within days, reportedly with his father, and stayed there for a decade, because Britain has no extradition route from Bangladesh and there is no public record that anyone ever tried to build one. Police said throughout that they were working to bring him back.
They never did. In June 2022 he brought himself back, boarding a flight to the UK by his own choice, and was arrested at the airport. In September 2023 he was jailed for eight years, for one rape and twelve counts of aiding and abetting rape.
Set the two numbers side by side. The men he supplied the girl to, 140 years between them, serving since 2016. The man the court heard was the ringleader, eight years, starting when he felt like it. His escape did not fail. It worked completely, and then he ended it on his own terms.
The Rapists Who Walked Out of Their Own Trial
The pimp and the premises man never saw a courtroom. Chowdhury saw one only when he chose to. The two men in this next case were caught, tried and convicted, and it made no difference.
Three men were convicted at Bradford Crown Court of raping a girl in Keighley in the 1990s, the last of eight men jailed over the abuse of two girls who waited until their forties to be heard. Two of the three, brothers Imtiaz Ahmed and Fayaz Ahmed, were not there for their verdicts. They fled ahead of the retrial that convicted them and are believed to be abroad. The judge sentenced them in their absence.

And this time, the force actually gave chase. It published their photographs. It brought in the National Crime Agency. In February 2025 it arrested eight people, six men and two women aged between 26 and 76, across Keighley, Shipley and Nelson, on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Weigh that arrest list. Eight people, across three towns, suspected of helping to hide two convicted child rapists. Then weigh the result. Eighteen months on, with their faces published, the national agencies engaged and their alleged helpers arrested, the brothers are still free, reported to be in Pakistan, and the public has been told nothing since.
- Not whether any of the eight were charged.
- Not what has been asked of Pakistan and answered.
When Bradford's institutions finally hunted two of these men, the hunt hit something organised enough to beat it, and then the updates stopped.
Read those eighteen months as the victims have had to live them. Two convicted rapists of a child, aged sixty-two and forty-five, at large. Their victims waited thirty years for those verdicts, and they watched two of the men walk away from them in the middle of the trial.
Bradford Had Already Drawn the Supply Chain
Four men, four eras, one shape. And here is the part that should make you angriest. Bradford's own institutions explained the shape twenty-seven years ago.
In 1998, Barnardo's published Whose Daughter Next?. Written from the casework of the Streets and Lanes project in this city, it described what it called the 'boyfriend model'.
- One man recruits the girl.
- He attaches her to him, isolates her from everyone else,
- And then supplies her onward to other men.
The model has three stages, recruitment, attachment and distribution. Britain's founding literature on grooming, drawn from Bradford's own case files, described a supply chain, and a supply chain does not run on customers alone. It needs men to recruit the girls, move them, house them and hand them on.
Once you hold that diagram, you can see its elements repeating through the whole record.
The plying appears in every era, gin in the Keighley hotel in 1959, gin and vodka in the 1966 cases, drink and drugs for the girls whose 1990s abuse Judge Nadim sentenced last year, the crack cocaine suspicion sitting in Anna's police records from February 2003.
Movement appears in every era too, the 1955 girl brought from Middlesbrough, the Nelson girls of 1960 moved to a house in Bradford, the Halifax sisters of 1966 found in Bradford, Anna telling her own review she was trafficked across West Yorkshire.
The men this article is about are the men the diagram says the whole trade depends on, the recruiters, the introducers, the keepers of rooms, the men with vehicles. And be exact here, because the courts have reached some of them. The man who married Anna at fifteen was the boyfriend model working exactly as Barnardo's described it, and he is serving twenty-three years. But study where the escapes fall.
- The man with the premises.
- The man with the taxi firm.
- The fifteen-year-old ringleader with the family and connections to reach Bangladesh within days of his arrest.
- The men with eight alleged helpers and a route to Pakistan.
The higher a man sat in the trade, the more money, warning and help his escape needed, and the more likely he was to get it. Bradford has jailed men from the queue and men from the middle. In seventy years of records, it has rarely held the top of a network.
The stories that expose them are the stories they tried and failed to imprison me for sharing.
Eight years in and over 2,000 new sign ups to my newsletter in the last month alone. Even the mainstream media blacklist has failed to censor this campaign. Millions now know the truth of the rape gangs, and who covered up what took place.
What comes next is the National Inquiry, and forcing it to go where it does not want to go. The only way to do that is pressure. We got it this far. Now help push it further, to a place where politicians are forced to testify. That includes the Prime Minister.
My name is Raja Miah. I led the campaign that helped force the National Inquiry. I need your help to make sure it is not a whitewash.

They Chased Everyone Except the Men That Mattered The Most
Here is where I stop asking questions, because the questions have an answer and the record contains it.
Do not let anyone tell you this state lacks the capacity to pursue people. Its capacity is documented on every page of this series. It found the capacity to place a sixteen-year-old under a three-year supervision order in 1959 and to lock a fifteen-year-old in a remand home the same year. It found the capacity to arrest and prosecute the exploited girls of the 1990s as prostitutes, below the age of consent, and gave them criminal records it has never expunged. Its Chief Constable found the capacity, in 2004, to get a national broadcaster to pull a documentary about these crimes until after an election.
And I can tell you from my own life that when this state decides a man matters, it can put officers through his door at dawn, because for writing about these networks I have been raided, arrested and prosecuted. Though every case against me collapsed, not once has the state admitted what it did. Even with the evidence of Operation Hexagon and the samosa crumbs leading from Manchester to No 10 Downing Street.
The apparatus was never idle. Across seventy years it supervised, detained, arrested and prosecuted, and it aimed all of it at the girls, at the film, at the whistleblowers, at everyone except the men who kept the supply moving. For the premises man and the pimp, I can find no public appeal, no published warrant, no extradition effort and no account from any institution of any pursuit at all. For Chowdhury, the pursuit was announced, achieved nothing for ten years, and ended only because he chose to come home. And the one hunt still running, for the Ahmed brothers, has gone eighteen months into a wall of alleged helpers and produced two empty chairs.
Either serious pursuit exists and can be evidenced, or it never happened, and every official who had the power to order it owes this district an explanation, under oath, at the inquiry.
So here are the demands, and this time there is a clock. West Yorkshire Police, Bradford Council, the CPS and the Home Office must be summoned to the National Inquiry to answer the following.
Was the man described in the March 2003 intelligence log as Anna's pimp ever formally identified, investigated, arrested or referred to prosecutors, and does he feature in any continuing proceeding?
Was the council's licensing service ever told that police intelligence connected a taxi business to the exploitation of a child in council care, and was any licence ever reviewed?
What extradition effort, if any, was made for Chowdhury during his ten years in Bangladesh, and why did his return have to wait on his own decision to board a flight? What has become of the eight people arrested for allegedly assisting the Ahmed brothers, what has been asked of Pakistan and answered, and which agency and which named senior officer owns each case today?
One question is left standing over all of it, and it is the question this whole series has been building to. The roles repeated for seventy years. The recruitment, the rooms, the vehicles, the introductions, the escapes, recurring from 1955 to last year, sustained by men born generations apart.
What allowed that to reproduce itself, decade after decade, in the same towns and cities?
I will tell you now what it was not. A theory built on modern Islamist radicalisation cannot explain a pattern already sitting in Bradford's court records in 1955. And it was not luck. Study the escapes again.
Chowdhury fled within days of his arrest, reportedly at his father's side, to a country with no extradition route, and somebody paid for those flights. The Ahmed brothers stayed hidden so effectively that the force arrested eight people across three towns just for allegedly helping them. Every man who got away had money behind him, warning ahead of him, and hands that hid him.
These men were not escaping the system. They were being carried past it, by family, by business, by people who considered protecting them a duty. What that structure is, how it came to hold this power in these towns, and who found the arrangement useful, is the next part of this series. It is the one they will hate most.
Because look at what seventy years of it has left standing.
Twenty-three years after police recorded a man as the suspected pimp of a child in council care, the public does not know who he was, whether he was investigated, or why he appears nowhere among the men convicted of abusing her.
Ten years of Chowdhury's freedom ended not with a warrant but with his own boarding pass, and an eight-year sentence a fraction of what the men he supplied received.
Eighteen months after Imtiaz Ahmed and Fayaz Ahmed fled the retrial that convicted them, two convicted child rapists remain free abroad, their photographs published, their alleged helpers arrested, and nothing said since.
Three men, three eras, one protection. It has rarely named, it has never been investigated, and it has never once been asked to account for itself. Why?
THE RAPE GANG COVER-UP HAS REACHED DOWNING STREET
Andy Burnham is Prime Minister. He arrived at Number 10 carrying nine years of Greater Manchester with him where he was never a spectator to the rape gang cover-up. His administration commissioned assurance reviews that assisted public officials conceal the abuse of children, and where the most dangerous questions stayed safely out of reach.

Under Burnham's watch survivors across Greater Manchester were abandoned. Whistleblowers had their homes raided by his police force while the men responsible for the cover up of the gang rape of children kept their positions, pensions and their reputations.
Operation Hexagon is real and no mainstream media blacklist will prevent the truth from coming out. Burnham becoming the most powerful politician in Britain makes no difference to us. A change of address erases nothing.
The statutory inquiry in to what is now accepted as the cover up of the industrial scale gang rape of little White girls by gangs of predominantly Pakistani men must call him to testify. That he holds the position of Prime Minister should not shield him. This is the man who ran Greater Manchester while the cover-up held. And had it not been for us, this cover up would have succeeded.
For eight years this campaign has confronted council leaders, police chiefs and government ministers. Three Labour council leaders are gone because ordinary people stood their ground. During this time, we have also forced a national inquiry. The fight now reaches Downing Street.
If you believe Andy Burnham must answer for what was done under his authority, stand with me and support the campaign that will see politicians made to answer for what they did. This is the link to my newsletter.

North or south, we did not come this far to kneel at the gates of Number 10.

The mainstream media will not undertake this work. The political parties have proven they will not. It survives because ordinary people decide that the truth is worth supporting.
My work is unapologetically detailed. A single article can take days to finalise, I work seven days a week, and I have been at this for nearly eight years. Three of those years were spent on police bail after Oldham Council officials conspired with Andy Burnham's police force in an attempt to maliciously prosecute me for exposing the cover up of the grooming gangs in my hometown. They failed. The world now knows the truth.
Over the last 30 days, 100,000 people have read Red Wall and the Rabble and over 2 million more were reached on Facebook and X. For a man blacklisted by the mainstream media, those are staggering numbers. They prove that the blacklist has failed. I do not need permission from broadcasters, newspaper editors or political parties to reach the public. I have you.

Everything we have exposed has been 100% community funded. I now need your support to take on the Prime Minister. Without your help, this fight will end, and they will win.
