Sammy Woodhouse Told A Million People I Was Suing Her
Will She Provide The Evidence To Prove What She Said Is True?
On Saturday 16th May 2026, Sammy Woodhouse stood on a stage at the Unite the Kingdom Rally and placed my name between corrupt politicians and convicted child sex offenders. Then she told that audience I am currently trying to sue her.
I am not. I have never written to her in any capacity and neither have my lawyers.
What followed was twenty-four hours of racist abuse directed at me, paedophilia allegations, and five different versions of a letter sent be me to Woodhouse that simply does not exist. This is the full account of what was said, by whom, and in what order.
The Rally and the Allegation
At the Unite the Kingdom Rally on Saturday 16th May 2026, Sammy Woodhouse took to the stage. Greater Manchester Police estimate approximately 60,000 people were in attendance. The event was livestreamed to an audience exceeding one million. The clip of her speech has since been shared across social media to millions more.
During her speech, Sammy Woodhouse stated "Raja Miah is currently trying to sue me."
That claim was placed between her naming corrupt politicians and naming a convicted child sex offender.
My Initial Response
When the clip circulated on X on Saturday 16th May 2026, I issued the following statement.
"For now, all I will say is that even my worst critics will not find any instance of me bad mouthing Sammy Woodhouse, either in public or in private. Everyone who follows my campaigning and systematic approach knows how diligent I am with my paperwork. They also know that I do not lie. If I have to defend myself, I will defend myself. And it seems that on this occasion, I must yet again defend myself. Remember, this is not a fight that I picked."
She Confirmed It In Writing
Woodhouse responded that evening.
"Raja, you don't stand a chance against me in court. You know it, I know it, and my legal team has confirmed it. This is nothing more than an intimidation tactic, and it won't work. You picked the wrong woman. I'll see you in the courtroom."
Her response confirmed she had accepted the allegation as fact. Her legal team had confirmed proceedings. She would see me in the courtroom. A person uncertain about whether they are being sued does not brief a legal team and promise courtroom appearances. She did both. In doing so she moved beyond repeating a claim from a stage and personally endorsed it in writing to her full audience.
A sustained and racist attack on me followed.
My Full Statement
On Sunday 17th May 2026, I issued a detailed statement.
"Sammy Woodhouse took advantage of speaking at the Unite the Nation rally to tell an audience of tens of thousands that I am suing her.
I don't think name dropping me in between Keir Starmer and a member of the rape gangs was accidental. Nor do I believe that this event was an appropriate place for this.
Her statement produced a wave of abusive posts directed at me, including explicitly racist attacks targeting my ethnic background and religion. There were also vile allegations of paedophilia.
The racist abuse from strangers is of no consequence to me. What is, however, is the response from people who know my work and what was done to me for speaking out, that still chose to publicly question my integrity before I had issued a single word in response. This did more damage than the racists.
As far as I am aware, I am not suing Sammy Woodhouse. I have never written to her never mind issued any legal document against her. If I were seeking financial damages from her, as would be the case for suing someone, a formal claim would have been served directly to her. Neither I, nor my lawyers, have issued any such claim.
The truth is there are other things going on here. I have tried my best not to get drawn into a public disagreement. Nowhere will anyone find a single post from me in any way attacking Ms Woodhouse. Unfortunately, as a consequence of her actions at the Unite the Union rally yesterday, I have no option other than defend myself.
I will share my understanding during this evening's transmission. Those who follow my work will know a few things about me. I do not lie. I bring the receipts. And I leave you to make your own minds up with an analysis of the evidence I present.

The Story Starts To Shift
- Woodhouse responded. "You're lying Raja."
- Woodhouse then shared my post on her own X page, with a following of over 200,000, and posted the following.
"Raja Miah is lying. The letter he sent threatening legal action if I did not meet his demands has been received, and I have taken legal advice. I will not cave to his silly demands. I can assure you that Raja will not win in court. I will be contacting my legal team again in the morning so evidence can be provided to the public. For him to claim that he sent no such letter concerning me is absolutely ridiculous."
I responded.
"Neither I nor my lawyers have ever sent you a letter of any kind Ms Woodhouse. That is the simple truth.
Those who follow my work know that I operate in a space of evidence and facts. I also do not lie. You made a very clear allegation regarding me to an audience of millions around the world. There is no ambiguity to what you stated.
Contact as many legal teams as you want to do so. Not one of them will find any documentation that states I have issued a claim suing you."
Woodhouse then posted the following.
"Raja, I spoke with you privately and addressed things in a meeting. I have tried calling you three times to speak with you directly, and I've also messaged you privately to deal with this.
You spoke about me publicly on your podcast, which I responded to publicly. You then sent a letter to my workplace, threatening me which is just low.
You need to apologise and move on. If you speak publicly about someone, you must expect a response. It works both ways. You made this public so I responded publicly. You have my number, I'll look forward to your call and your apology."
Note the shift. Sammy Woodhouse opened this exchange telling an audience of millions that I am currently trying to sue her. Now, the allegation has become that I sent a letter to her workplace. These are not the same claim.
You cannot sue someone by writing to their employer. A lawsuit requires a claim form served on the defendant directly. The shift from "trying to sue me" to "wrote to my employer" is a concession that the original allegation cannot be sustained.
When asked by a third party to produce evidence of the letter proving I was trying to sue her, Woodhouse issued two responses. Her first was "With my legal team." Her second was the following.
"No I haven't lied. I have clearly stated a letter by him has been sent, which was forwarded onto legal. I will not be meeting with his demands so he can take it to the high court as he has clearly stated. End of."
Throughout this exchange Woodhouse continued engaging with supporters on X, repeatedly claiming I had lied.
What Suing Someone Actually Requires
- In England and Wales, to sue an individual through the civil courts, the following steps are required.
- A Letter Before Action must be sent to the defendant
- If unresolved, a Claim Form (N1) must be completed and filed at court
- The court seals and issues the claim
- The sealed Claim Form must be formally served on the defendant or their solicitors
- The defendant has 14 days to acknowledge service and 28 days to file a defence
My Position
None of the steps outlined have been taken against Sammy Woodhouse or her lawyers. I have filed nothing at court against her and served nothing on her. I do not know who her lawyers are. I have never communicated with them in any capacity. Service of a sealed Claim Form on the defendant is a legal requirement for civil proceedings to exist. That requirement has not been met because no proceedings exist.
I have never written to Sammy Woodhouse on any legal matter. Ever.
The YouTube Broadcast
On the evening of Sunday 17th May 2026, via my YouTube channel, I demonstrated the shifting account of Sammy Woodhouse. Her allegation began as "Raja Miah is currently trying to sue me" before an audience of millions, became a claim about a threatening letter sent to her, and ended as a claim about correspondence sent to her employer.
For the avoidance of any doubt. It is not possible to sue Sammy Woodhouse through correspondence addressed to her employer. A lawsuit must be served on the defendant directly.
The Racist Abuse
The racist abuse directed at me has been sustained, encouraged in no small part by Woodhouse repeatedly claiming I had lied.
The Deadline
My position is clear and has not changed. Neither I nor my lawyers have written to Sammy Woodhouse or issued proceedings against her.
Woodhouse claims a letter sent by me to her is with her lawyers.
I am giving Sammy Woodhouse until 5pm today, Monday 18th May 2026, to produce correspondence sent by me or my lawyers to Sammy Woodhouse or her lawyers that substantiates her claim that "Raja Miah is currently trying to sue me."
I am certain that Sammy Woodhouse will not be able to share with the public any letter from me (or my legal team) addressed to her (or her legal team) that can be used to defend her allegation that 'Raja Miah is currently trying to sue me.'
Once again, especially for the racists in the room who struggle to see past the colour of my skin or take the effort to pronounce my name properly;
Throughout, I have refrained from calling Sammy Woodhouse a liar or abused her in any way. Instead, I have expressed sympathy for the trauma endured by survivors. The 5pm deadline exists so that I can return to my work.
On Suing Sammy Woodhouse
The events over the weekend have provided me with plenty of evidence to sue Sammy Woodhouse should I wish to do do. What she has claimed is not true. She has then repeatedly called me a liar. And the consequences of her actions has resulted in not just attacks on my credibility, but a kind of racist abuse I have not endured since I was a small boy growing up in the 1970s.
Instead of suing Sammy Woodhouse, I will say this instead. We have wasted enough time on this nonsense. Attempting to silence me, discredit me and smear my good name is what those we are fighting against do. I will leave it to Sammy Woodhouse to reflect on her actions. I care not for an apology from her. People make mistakes. I have no interest in shaming them when they do.
There are children being gang raped and trafficked. For decades, The authorities have desperately attempted, to cover up what has been taking place. The national inquiry that we all forced, now must be forced to name cities such as Bradford and Birmingham in its line of inquiries. We must also support Maggie Oliver in her attempts to expose Andy Burnham as he moves to become Prime Minister. The man is eyebrows deep in the cover up.
My priority remains now what it has been since we began this journey together. Justice for the survivors and a reckoning of the kind never seen before for all those involved in the cover up.
