Latest Scandal To Emerge In Oldham Rape Gang Inquiry

But in Oldham, a parallel “inquiry” is taking place and it’s deeply compromised.

  • It has no statutory powers
  • It's run by Oldham Council — the very body accused of covering up abuse
  • Survivors have been excluded, while individuals linked to Pakistani gangs sit in the room
  • Council leader Arooj Shah and Chief Exec Shelley Kipling are both implicated in past cover-ups. As is the new, swiftly promoted Borough Solicitor Alexander Bougatof.
  • Even Jess Phillips MP has pushed this sham forward despite the national inquiry already being announced

This isn’t justice. It’s obstruction.

We must demand the immediate cancellation of the Oldham inquiry and push for a fully independent investigation, safeguarded from interference from Oldham Council lawyers or their Pakistani gangster associates, under the full legal authority of the national inquiry.

The truth is out. The world is watching. And justice is coming.
